Announcement of the winning films(competition program)
We would like to make an announcement that 12 films are selected by the
Preliminary selection which the 11th Kyoto International Student Film & Video Festival committee did.
These films are to be showed
in the 11th Kyoto International Student Films & Video Festival at Kyoto Cinema
from November 22th to 28th.
Besides, one Grand Prix and two Semi-Grand Prix which will be selected from among
these 12 films by three final judges are to announce at Kanbaikan(Doshisha University) in november 24th.
We are looking forward to seeing you

This year we received 246 works from various countries.
The judgement was so difficult that we had to spare so much time for the selection.
The works that we received were all excellent.
When we judged the films, we had high openions of the works that have something outstanding.
As a result, all of the winning films are very unique and appealing.
We surely can tell you that these selected films are wonderful with no doubt.
We are sorry that there are so many marvelous works which were not selected as the prized ones.
It was very important and unforgettable for us all to see a lot of great student films.
