About KISFVF


◆INTRODUCTION◆

Kyoto international student film & video festival that faced the 11th this year.
Last year 281(135 countries and overseas 146) total of the work and a lot of movies gathered on times
We are planning to make this years festival better than ever.

The movie projects a society today and expresses the individual world.
It is a medium that can know the one and the outlook on the world that I do not have.
However, it will be able to be said that the one screened in the movie theater is very little, and the one of the student production hardly reflects in addition. Moreover, the work with a famous overseas movie is screened.

The movie extends if it doesn't see a movie here as an amusement by ' Seen side' but makes "See" intentional as an art.

◆What Is KISFVF??◆

The Kyoto international student film festival is a film festival by the student who assumes 'Kyoto student film festival' in the 1st Kyoto film festival in 1997 to be an antecedent for the student.

To recruit the competition of the movie and the image work of a domestic and foreign student, to make the place of the exchange of those who produce and the spectator through the screening, and to contribute from student's standpoint to the movie greatly, KISFVF has been held.

There are usually the very interesting one and the one starting appealing to the sensibility in that in no small way though it is a student movie with few chances to see. It takes, a lot of people see the work for screening with this film festival, and it aims to become a significant chance that the spectator asks an opinion and a direct impression in people involved in such a wonderful movie and the production.
