Application for competition starts!!

11th Kyoto International Film Festival wants participations of your works for our competition!
The recruitment period：15,Aplil 2008～16,June 2008
（Entries postmarked no later than this date will be accepted.）

The Kyoto international student film festival recruits the movie and image work of a domestic and foreign student.
About 10 winning films out of all submissions will be selected by the hands of the KISFVF committee(Preliminary Selection)
All of them will be screened at the festival(November,2008)

The final jury (TBC) which consists of professional film makers and film experts will examine winning films to pick out one Grand Prix and two Semi-Grand Prix films. (There may not be any Grand Prix nor Semi-Grand Prix films if the jury decides so.) The result of the preliminary selection will be informed to all applicants.

※We will announce on this site as soon as a decision is made


Prize: Grand Prix (1 work) ---100,000(JPY)
　　 : Semi-Grand Prix (2 works) ---50.000 (JPY)

We hope that screening your movies in our festival become a significant chance
that the audiences and creators talks about opinions and impressions of works.
And we want to contribute to stimulate the creation activities and future of the people who make the movie.

The 11th KISFVF committee wants your movies and the image works that projects your individuality and insistence.
